Intellectual Property Investigations

Investigative Resources is both experienced and effective in the investigation of intellectual property violations. IRI investigators conduct undercover field activity to identify product counterfeiting operations, and other unauthorized activities at the manufacturing, distribution, and retail levels. Investigators will ascertain the identification, background and associations of violators as well as their sources and method of operation.

IRI also offers support in the enforcement of court orders. IRI can track and monitor specific merchandise or equipment; observe and document suspicious activities; or assist in the execution of search and seizure orders. IRI is well familiar with import/export regulations and international shipping procedures.

IRI will also undertake technically complex assignments such as the identification and documentation of unauthorized manufacturing processes or the unauthorized use of protected scientific discoveries.

IRI will coordinate each investigation according to specific case objectives; working with legal counsel, client representatives, law enforcement officers or prosecutors.
